For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.   Hebrews 4:12-13

My Confession:

Your word, Oh Lord, is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. It is living and powerful, and it imparts faith to my heart. I will study it diligently so that I will be a worker who does not need to be ashamed, but rightly divides Your word. I thank You that all scripture is given by Your inspiration and it provides me with doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness.

I realize that I do not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from Your mouth. Your word declares that I have power over the enemy. It is the sword of the spirit by which I defeat all spiritual foes. Lord, Your word, also, renews my mind so I have the mind of Christ.
Your word is truth, and it sanctifies me. I have hidden it in my heart and it keeps me from sin.

You sent your word to heal me and deliver me. I praise you for your goodness and wonderful works in my life. Your testimonies are wonderful and my soul will treasure them and keep them. I rejoice at your word as one who finds a great treasure. It is better to me than thousands of gold and silver.

I thank You that you have given me the 'New Birth' through the incorruptible seed of your word. As I plant the word in my heart and speak it with my mouth it will continually bring forth fruit in my life. Father, You have given me everything I need to live Godly and supernaturally through the knowledge of You. By your word You have made me a partaker of the divine nature.
